While investigating new Bluetooth headsets and budget Bluetooth headphones and earpieces I stumbled onto this one. If you’ve ever seen a British TV series called Torchwood you might recognise it. Some of the characters use slightly modified versions of the Jabra BT250 Bluetooth Headset.
Well the latest model is the bt250v and it’s just as comfortable as previous models. A little bit pricier at around $60 but definitely worth the money for ease of pairing, clarity and comfort.
Some of the features include:
Bluetooth compliance: Bluetooth version 1.1 (or higher) specifications.
Talk time: Up to 7h (Depends on pone model and husage). Stand-by time: Up to 200h.
Vibrating call alert – Call transfer – Last number redial – Voice activated dialing.
Weight (headset): 0.8oz.
This item comes in bulk packageing with Charger

On another note, it’s Friday so I’m taking a break from reviews. I hope to be back next week with not only more Bluetooth headsets but also a look at some Bluetooth software. Chat to you soon!
The latest wireless earpiece release in the top bestsellers on Amazon include this nifty Bluetooth headset from Motorola. Not sure why Frustration Free Packaging is a selling point. If I want it, I wouldn’t care how much packaging it is in!
Clarity is definitely a better selling point and for a product regularly under $40 the sound quality is astounding. Obviously more expensive models will have better sound but most around this price have much lower quality sound than the Motorola.
I do love the battery check feature on this one, and the fact I can talk for 6 hours using it is a plus. The downside about this product, and probably the reason it is 3rd on the list at the moment, is that it can only be shipped within the US. Like any device if you’ve got the brand phone, get the brand headpiece. Things will work much better together when they’re designed using similar systems. There are millions of people worldwide using Motorola so it’s a shame that there are some rules restricting this Bluetooth headset’s availability. Another disadvantage, though it is actually a common disadvantage for low priced bluetooth headsets, is that the wire ear loop or ear hook is fairly flimsy and easily broken. If you treat it delicately it’ll do the work.
Overall a neat little system that is worth checking out if you’re in the USA. You can find out more about the Motorola H385 Bluetooth Headset (Silver)

Plantronics Voyager 520 Bluetooth Headset
The most popular and bestselling bluetooth headset available on Amazon.com today is the Plantronics Voyager 520 Bluetooth Headset. Not only does it feature noise-cancelling and an ear bud design that enhances call clarity, you can also connect it to two different phones and switch between them.
Plantronics have done it again with their lightweight and comfortable bluetooth ear piece which a number of reviewers have confirmed fits their ears where other devices have failed. And at $39.99 it is such a great price that if you haven’t used a bluetooth earpiece before, this might be the one to start with.
